Flachau ist der perfekte Urlaubsort für Aktivurlauber. Der Tourismusverband hat sich einiges einfallen lassen, so dass der Urlaub abwechslungsreich und unvergesslich wird. Angeboten werden z. B. Canyoning, Rafting, Kajakfahren, Nordic Walking und Lauftreffs. Die nähere Umgebung kann außerdem zu Pferd oder mit dem Mountainbike erkundet werden. Man kann eine der Freeride- und Downhill-Abfahrten ausprobieren oder Touren zu den Almhütten machen. Wer es nicht ganz so sportlich angehen möchte, kann sich ein Bike mit einem E-Motor oder eine Harley-Davidson ausleihen. Zudem gibt es zwei Badeseen, an denen man sich sonnen und entspannen kann. Ein Kinderprogramm wird auch angeboten. Außerdem bietet Flachau einen Hochseilgarten, Tennisplatz, Kletterwand, Minigolfanlage und einen Beachvolleyballplatz. Eine Besonderheit in Flachau ist das Zorbing. In Riesenplastikbällen rollt man Wiesen entlang oder leichte Hügel hinunter.
